Valves in refineries, gas plants and desalination lines have to seal. When they stop sealing, they are ground, lapped, machined and tested — with EFCO equipment.

Efco Maschinenbau ME Limited was established in July 2026 in the Masdar City Free Zone in Abu Dhabi.

In practice, it means:

• Contracts and invoices can be issued by a company registered in the United Arab Emirates.
• EFCO can be registered as a supplier and take part in tender processes that require a registered entity in the region.
• You have a named contact for the region.
• Engineering, manufacturing and factory acceptance testing remain at the EFCO plant in Düren, Germany.
• Delivery, spare parts and technical support are handled through EFCO’s authorized partners in each country.

The subsidiary is being built up step by step. What it does today is described above, no more and no less.

The range covers valve test benches for seat and body testing, grinding and lapping machines for flat, conical and gate valve seats, portable flange facing machines and lathes for on-site work, container-based mobile workshops, and the consumables that go with them.

EFCO builds equipment for the machining, repair and testing of valves, flanges and pipelines. In the Gulf region that equipment is used in:

• Oil and gas production, pipelines and terminals
• Refineries and petrochemical plants
• LNG plants
• Desalination and water treatment
• Power generation
• Valve manufacturers, repair workshops and service contractors

Portable machines work directly on the valve or flange in the plant, during turnarounds and shutdowns. Stationary machines and test benches work in the workshop.
