Test benches for manufacturers and special test benches

In reality, there are often special cases where special housings have to be tested.

These can be, among others:

  • Gate valves, globe valves, ball valves
  • control valves, butterfly valves
  • check valves, safety valves
  • Steel bellows, tanks, pipes
  • Pipe socket pieces, pump housings
  • motor housings, steam traps
  • and much more.

Testing such items require the use of special test benches, which are adapted to the respective applications. Special test benches often have to be newly constructed.

With such special test benches, lots of test scenarios are possible such as:

  • Tests with water pressure up to 1,380 bar (20,000 psi); higher on request
  • Air / nitrogen pressure testing
  • Underwater test
  • Leakage measurements (especially for control valves)
  • Torque tests for driven valves

Such special test benches are designed according to customer requirements. They can be manual without a degree of automation, semi-automatic or fully automatic.

Other nominal diameters, test pressures and test media are available on request.

PS-50 UW
