The party responsible for processing data on this website is:

EFCO Maschinenbau GmbH
Otto-Brenner-Straße 5 - 7

You will find the information according to the German Telemedia Act in our required legal notice (imprint)

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We handle your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations, in particular the EU-GDPR, the new German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG-neu) and the German Telemedia Act (TMG), as well as this data privacy statement. It is normally possible to use our website without providing personal data. Where personal data is collected on our Web pages (e.g. name, address or e-mail address), this is always on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your explicit approval.

The following data privacy statement gives you an overview of how we ensure the protection of your personal data, what type of data is collected and for what purpose, and how you can exercise your rights to protect your data.

For security reasons and to protect the transfer of confidential content (e.g. the data you enter on the contact form), we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (SSL and TLS). Please be aware that there may be security risks when data is transmitted over the Internet (e.g. in e-mail communications). The complete protection of data from access by third parties is not possible. We therefore recommend you contact us by phone or post in the case of confidential enquiries.

Server logs:

When you access our website, data is stored on our web server for technical reasons.

This data includes:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL (website from which you were referred)
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • IP address (truncated)
  • Date and time of the server request
  • Name of the page accessed
  • Downloaded data volume

This data cannot be assigned to any particular person by us. It is used exclusively to limit and eliminate technical faults or to defend against attacks on our website or other misuse. The log data is normally deleted after a maximum of 30 days. In suspicious cases, we reserve the right to store log extracts until final clarification. In no cases are personal user profiles created from this internal log data, nor is this data passed on to third parties. This data is not merged with any other data sources.

When you use the contact form on the website, your details are taken from the form, including the contact details you have provided, for the purposes of dealing with the enquiry and are stored with us in the event of any follow-up questions. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties; this does not, however, affect the passing on of your data within the scope of order processing. With your consent, we also use your contact data to inform you about such things as news or current events.

The transmission of the data you enter on the contact form and its further processing by us will only take place subject to your active declaration on the contact form that you agree to the processing of your data in accordance with this data privacy statement and thus on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR). You may revoke this consent at any time. An e-mail to making this request is sufficient. The legality of the data processing performed before we received your revocation of consent is unaffected.

The data entered by you on the contact form will be stored by us until you request us to delete it, or you revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose of the data processing no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
